These are instructions to install the Go! Cam Mod (https://psp.brewology.com/downloads/download.php?id=6965&mcid=1) onto your PSP. This mod will allow you to turn off the shutter sound when taking pictures with a PSP camera. Tested with the PSP-450x camera on 6.61-LME CFW, PSP-2000. This should also work for the PSP-300 camera, as it's a software change. WARNING: I'm not responsible if you somehow brick your PSP as a result of this. INSTALLATION STEPS ------------ 1. Download the archive from the mod page and find the camera_plugin.rco 2. Connect your PSP to your PC with USB. 3. Shut down PSP, then turn it on while holding R-trigger. This will open the Recovery Menu. 4. Once the Recovery Menu is open, scroll to Advanced -> Toggle USB (Flash0) 5. Navigate on your computer to the connected PSP removable disk (let's call it drive X:). 6. Navigate to X:\vsh\resources\ 7. MAKE A BACKUP OF camera_plugin.rco (or the entire resources folder if you're paranoid like me) in case it doesn't work or breaks 8. Copy and overwrite the camera_plugin.rco by dragging and dropping the modded version into X:\vsh\resources 9. Toggle Flash0 to eject your PSP from your computer and exit Recovery Mode 10. Disconnect the PSP from your computer, since you need the USB port for the camera. 11. Connect your PSP camera and open the Camera app 12. Press Triangle to open the GUI 13. Go to Settings > Shutter Sound, set it to Sound 5 14. Finished! There should be no more sound after taking a picture. NOTES ------------ - You can ONLY overwrite files in Flash0 if you Toggle USB for Flash0 in the Recovery Menu. - If you open the VSH menu while in the XMB and switch the USB Device to Flash0 and try accessing it from there, everything in the removable disk (e.g. X:\vsh\resources) will be READ ONLY, and nothing can be overwritten. - It also doesn't work if you try using Admin Privileges to overwrite camera_plugin.rco (at least for me it didn't).
